Sean Payton has decided to spend his year-long suspension from the NFL, coaching 6th grade football for the Liberty Christian Warriors.  Here are a few quotes from the players and their parents.

Richie Phillips, starting punter:  “I don’t like it.  Since Coach Payton has shown up all I get to do is watch.”

Roy Baxter, Greg Baxter’s father:  “On the first day of practice my Greggy got hurt.  He was trying to pick up his new playbook and pulled his hammy.” 

J.P. Young, 3rd string QB:  “We play the Crawford Dragons next week and their defense is coached by Greg Williams.  I heard that they have a $5 bounty on our heads so maybe I will get in the game.”

Brooks Copeland, father of Charlie Copeland, OG:  “My boy is too fat to be running this much.  He has some awful chub-rub.”

Tommy Pash, former OC:  “Maybe the Atlanta Falcons are hiring.”
