Chris Johnson is impressed by Usain Bolt and knows that he is the fastest 100-meter sprinter in the world, but CJ thinks he can get him in the 40.
“I feel like if I would have kept training for track I’d have a chance, but I
play football and he runs track, so it’s totally different,” Johnson said. “I
think I could still probably beat him in the 40. If I actually trained for the
distance he trained for, I think I’d have a chance.”
I think Chris Johnson is on to something here. If you watch Usain Bolt’s races he starts to pull away at the 40-50 meter mark because of his long stride. Inside of 40 meters, I think Johnson would win. Can Johnson still run the 4.24 40 he ran at the combine? I don’t know, but I think a 4.35 would be enough to get the job done. I say Bolt runs a 4.48 40.
Let’s make it happen. I’m calling my bookie and getting odds right now.
