The Morning Dump: 9/10/12

Had a headache last night from going back and forth between 8 TVs all afternoon.  I should have went to the sports bar last week and just practiced going from TV to TV.

NFL points I will elaborate on more in my breakdown tomorrow.  Impressed with RG3, 49ers, Texans, Matt Ryan and Peyton.  Not impressed with Packers D, Chris Johnson, Panthers and the replacement officials.

Braylon Edwards is now in the good graces of the NFL, after he dropped a sure TD after the scab officials gave the Seahawks a 4th timeout.  Someone just earned a DUI pass.

The Yankees hammered the O’s to remind them they are still the team to beat in the A.L. East.

Arkansas dropped from 8th to out of the polls, after their stunning loss to LA-Monroe.

MESSI!!!

Rory McIlroy has gone back-to-back and won 3 of 4 to solidify his place as the #1 golfer in the world.  The Fed Ex Cup is his to win.

Does anyone not agree that Serena Williams is the greatest women’s tennis player EVER?  Pure Domination!

The Joker is going to put it on Murray to win his 2nd U.S. Open.

My customary weekly Clint Bowyer bet came up big on Saturday night when he won in Richmond.  Bowyer looks to be in great place for the start of the Chase.

One Response to The Morning Dump: 9/10/12

  1. Will Taylor says:

Replacement Refs: Grade D- overall. There were so many missed calls, a 4th timeout, safety issues (helmet to helmet no calls), calls taking too long, challenge foul ups, etc. I could go on and on. C’mon Ed, where are you?
Peyton Manning is still a machine in that no-huddle offense. Denver is a serious contender now and that defense is much better than I thought. The Panthers laid a big egg yesterday to Tampa?? guh!! New Orleans coming to Charlotte Sunday, we need help. Can’t know Russell Wilson yesterday, he got his team to where they were suppose to, not a bad performance. RG III will make a huge splash fantasy wise this year, awesome performance! Let’s go ahead and say the Browns will not make the playoffs this year, yikes. Michael Vick needs to go find himself.
