3-2 last week, with another cherry on top Monday night. Through 4 weeks in the NFL, the league is on pace for a record setting year for points scored. Of course its being helped by the Tennessee Titans who are on pace to allow 604 points this year… The NFL record is 533.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Total 43.5
The Eagles are only scoring 16.5 points per game right now, but lost in that is that in 3 of the 4 weeks they’ve played really good defenses (Baltimore, Arizona, NY Giants). The Steelers are a decent defense, but I’m looking for 20+ points from the Eagles. Also, the Steelers, on top of their potent passing game, are getting their best running back this week.
Take the OVER
Miami Dolphins +4 vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals have been playing really well the last couple of weeks, posting an average of over 30 points each week. The Dolphins have been playing teams tough, but there’s an obvious talent discrepancy between Miami and the middle-tier teams. Look for AJ Green and Dalton to keep putting on a show, and the Bengal D to keep the ‘Phins under 20 points. hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Take the Bengals and give the 4.
Cleveland Browns +9 vs. New York Giants
The Browns are still rebuilding, and the Giants are just too talented to keep up with. The Giants are at home after a tough divisional loss, and will look to pour it on Cleveland. Look for the Giant D-line to harass Weeden and Richardson will get bottled up late. hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Take the Giants -9
Kansas City Chiefs +6 vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens are 5th in the league in scoring and the Chiefs have been giving up a lot of points. The Ravens D have the athletes to contain Charles and the physicality to matchup with Bowe and Baldwin on the outside. Look for Smith to keep up his breakout season, and Rice to salt away the game. hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Take the Ravens and give the 6.
Jacksonville Jaguars +6 vs. Chicago Bears

In Cutler’s defense, I heard that Mike Tice ate at Taco Bell right before the game. Who would want to smell THAT?
Ah, the Jags. I try really hard not to bet on the Bears because I find it hard to be unbiased, but I’m taking them this week. The Jags are 32nd in points scored, and they’ve give up over 25 points a game. The Bears are going to be a streaky team, but even on a bad week they can hang with the Jags. Look for the Bears to stay on track and the Bears D to score another 3 or 4 touchdowns. (Kidding) hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Take the Bears and give the 6.
