Big Game 1 win at home for the Giants gives them some confidence agasint Verlander in game 5 and not much else.  Momentum in baseball is the next starting pitcher and the Tigers will have the Game 2 advantage with Doug Fister over Madison Bumgarner.  If the Tigers can win Game 2, they are right where they want to be going home.

I thought Tim McCarver had a stroke at least 3 different times last night.  He sounded more confused than normal.

Kobe will miss the rest of the preseason with a sore foot.  Why was he even playing?  Kobe Bryant should never play in another preseason again.
